Lubb dubb says the heart,
Expand ,contract I do say the lungs,
We do take in air (oxygen)
and give out (carbon-di-oxide).
Thinking and working I do says the brain.
Excreting the waste is my job says Anus.

What is digestion?Our body cannot absorb all the food we eat.The food we eat is broken down into simple and easily soluble substances is called digestion.
What happens to the digested food?
It mixes with the blood stream and gets stored in muscles and liver.
How does body get energy?
It is obtained from the food we eat.
Mention the parts of the digestive system:
They are:
Mouth, Food pipe, Stomach, Liver, Gall bladder, Pancreas, Small intestine, Large intestine, Rectum, and Anus.

Describe the process of digestion:
It starts in the mouth.
The teeth grind the food.
Saliva is secreted from the the three pairs of salivary glands.
This saliva mixes with the food and makes digestion easier.
From food pipe it reaches Stomach.
Muscles of the stomach contract and relax.
Food gets churned there.
Glands in the stomach secretes digestive juices and hydrochloric acid.
This makes the food digestible.
The digested food passes through the small
intestines mixes with the bile juice,pancreatic juice and enzymes and gets
digested.
What happens to the digested food?
It is converted into nutrients and transported to various parts of the body, through BLOOD.
What happens to the undigested food?
Passes into the large intestines and excreted through the anus.
Secrete X excrete .
both are happening in our body.

What must you eat for better excretion?
foods rich in fibre, fruits,greens and vegetables.
How much water must we drink every day?
2.5 litres everyday.

Eyes, ears,nose,hands and legs.
Eyes are there to see,
Ears are there to listen and hear,
Nose is there to smell and breathe
and Hands are there to lift and do namasthe,
and legs are there to walk and kick the football.

Brain,Heart,Lungs, Kidneys and Liver.

Thinking,storing information and imagining.
How is brain protected? by the skull.

speaking, writing, singing, running ,walking,sitting and standing.

What is heart made up of? Muscles.
Where is it located? In between the lungs in the chest.
How many chambers has the heart? FOUR
What are called Auricles? The two upper chambers.
What are called Ventricles? The two lower chambers.
How does the heart beat occur? due to contraction and relaxation of heart muscles.
How many times does the human heart beat per minute? 72 times.

What does exchange of gas means?

What is needed for the function of muscles?
More amount of oxygen
When does respiration take place?
During day and night and the whole day.

bean shaped and pale red colored.
What is their function? To excrete waste

They keep us healthy even when we are asleep.They do not rest.

One,Two and Three

One man and two women
Went to the market,
To buy three things.
One wolf and two wolves,
The three entered the village.
One wolf carried away
A sheep but left all other sheep.

Altogether the three,
Entered a house.
One baby was in the cradle

The babies cried when

He suffered a lot for all of us,
Struggled to get the freedom which we
Are enjoying.
He was after Truth and Ahimsa.
Ahimsa- The non-violence.
He will live for ever in the hearts of every Free Indian.
Let us all live,work and leave foot prints
behind as he did .

Learning a Lesson

Oh! Ants!
Come with me and play,
I don't like books and I don't like school.
Oh! our dear boy,
This is the time to gather food and store,
We can't during the rainy season.
Oh! Birdie!
Come with me and play,
I don't like books and I don't like school.
Oh! my dear child,
I have to build my nest,
I have to lay the eggs,
I must collect the twigs,
Or it will be too late.
Oh! Doggie,
Come with me and play,
Oh! my master!
How can I?
I have to watch and guard your house,
And bark at the strangers.
I can't and I 'm sorry.
Oh! Bee!

I have to work hard,
